In October 2006, Chaplain Craddock accepted the position as Chief of Chaplain Services, Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, and Augusta, GA where he continues to serve today. Since arriving,?? he has been instrumental in introducing a Clinical Pastoral Education Residency Program (CPE), ??Marriage Retreat Pilot Program for returning OEF/OIF combat veterans as spouses, a monthly follow up support group for retreat couples called ???The New Normal??.?? His department has won two ???Best Practice?? national awards from the Secretary of VA??s Office. Chaplain Craddock was nominated for the Secretary of VA Award of Excellence in the field of Supervisor in 2009.
