♥ Ellen and Chuck Purcell have been teaching PAIRS classes in the Northern Virginia / Washington DC area for over 20 years together. Ellen has also served as a PAIRS Master Teacher/Trainer for many years, leading certification trainings for professionals across the country under the auspices of the PAIRS Foundation.

♥ Chuck has three Masters Degrees, is a retired USAF fighter pilot and research scientist. On the topic of PAIRS, Ellen has lectured at James Madison University, George Mason University and George Washington University, and has presented on television and radio. Several articles have been published about their classes, including a front page article in the Washington Post.

♥Previously, Ellen served as Administrative Director of the PAIRS Foundation National Office, and Executive Director of the PEERS Program (PAIRS curriculum for youth). She was also the Assistant Director of the National Center for Education in Maternal and Child Health, a division of Georgetown University.
